Senior DevSecOps Engineer

Join us as a DevSecOps Engineer and join our infrastructure team to build and maintain secure, resilient cloud infrastructure. You'll focus on implementing security best practices while contributing to our broader SRE initiatives, including infrastructure automation, observability, and developer enablement initiatives. This role offers the opportunity to shape our cloud infrastructure defenses and solve complex technical challenges. Your contribution will directly impact the day-to-day security and resilience of our cloud infrastructure, supporting critical services and systems.

The Role: As a DevSecOps Engineer, you will drive automation, security, and reliability across our infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines. You will enhance our cloud with state-of-the-art security solutions. This role combines deep technical expertise with a security-first mindset, making it ideal for someone passionate about automating security, driving innovation, and collaborating across teams to build resilient and high-performing systems.

Your mission:

·      Assist in implementing security controls and compliance measures across our infrastructure.

·      Build and maintain infrastructure-as-code and CI/CD pipelines.

·      Manage Kubernetes clusters and container security.

·      Develop automated security testing and scanning strategies.

·      Monitor, detect, and respond to security threats.

·      Deploy zero-trust architectures, identity and access management (IAM), and security monitoring solutions.

·      Participate in system design and architecture discussions.

·      Advocate for shift-left security, enabling developers with secure coding practices and tooling.

What makes you a great fit:

Experience:

·      5+ years of DevOps/SRE experience with security focus.

·      Proven track record of collaborating with a team to secure critical infrastructures.

·      Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines, container orchestration, infrastructure as code (IaC), and security information and event management (SIEM).

·      Proven working experience in high-security environments.

Technical Expertise:

·      Strong experience with Azure and AWS security features and services.

·      Expertise in Kubernetes and container security.

·      Experience with infrastructure-as-code and GitOps.

·      Knowledge of CI/CD security practices and tools.

·      Understanding of Zero Trust principles.

·      Experience with security scanning and compliance tools.

Core Skills:

·      Experience with observability stacks.

·      Knowledge of networking and system security.

·      Strong automation and scripting skills.

·      Incident response experience.

Nice to Have:

·      Security certifications (CISSP, CCSP).

·      Cloud certifications (AWS/Azure).

·      Experience with service mesh technologies.

·      Background in threat modeling.
