The Role: As Sales Director U.S. Intelligence Community, you will play a critical role in expanding Datenna’s footprint across the IC. You will be responsible for delivering tailored OSINT-driven solutions that align with the missions of key IC agencies. This is an individual contributor role reporting to the Chief Revenue Officer, with full ownership of the IC sales strategy from engagement through to contract award.
Your mission:
• Own the full business development lifecycle within the Intelligence Community, from prospecting to close
• Develop and execute strategic account plans tailored to IC agencies and their mission priorities
• Build and maintain trusted relationships with IC analysts, acquisition professionals, and decision-makers
• Navigate complex procurement environments and align Datenna’s solutions to specific intelligence requirements and capability gaps
• Deliver compelling briefings and demos to both technical and mission audiences
• Use HubSpot CRM for opportunity tracking, forecasting, and stakeholder management
• Work cross-functionally with product and analyst teams to ensure customer feedback informs product development
What makes you a great candidate:
• At least 7 years of experience selling into the Intelligence Community, with a demonstrated ability to win direct government contracts
• Deep understanding of the IC’s procurement environment, including mission requirements, budget timelines, and acquisition vehicles
• Proven track record of consistently exceeding sales targets, especially in complex, high-value deal environments
• Ability to communicate mission impact, not just product features, to senior leaders and technical end-users
• Strong understanding of the IC’s structure, key players, and operational tempo
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to deliver tailored, mission-aligned value propositions
• Self-starter who thrives in dynamic, fast-paced environments
Nice to have:
• Familiarity with Planning, Programming, Budgeting, and Execution (PPBE) within the IC or Department of Defense
• Experience working in or selling to classified or sensitive environments
• Background in early-stage or high-growth companies where adaptability and initiative are critical
• Proficiency in HubSpot or similar CRM platforms
• Security Clearance

Additional Information
This is a full-time position based in our Alexandria, VA office or remote within the Washington, DC metro area.
U.S. Citizenship is required.
Travel may be required up to 30%.
