Are you interested in working with governments worldwide to deliver them the tools needed to safeguard economic security? As part of your role, you will be tasked with conducting research on political, economic, and social trends in relevant countries to identify potential business opportunities.
You will develop and maintain relationships with government officials, policymakers, and other international stakeholders to advocate for your company's interests. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, such as the Customer Success and China Research Team, to develop and implement company strategies that align with your overall goals. Finally, you will plan and participate in events and meetings with government officials and other stakeholders to promote your company's interests, expanding your network and ensuring that your company's message is heard.


Job requirements


What you bring
  • Postgraduate Degree in International Relations, Economics, Political Science and the like.
  • 1-2 years’ experience in external/public affairs, government relations or strategic communications (B2B, B2G).
  • Clear communication skills. Experienced in public speaking advantageous but not essential.
  • Highly organised and methodical work mindset.
  • An ambition to work on the strategic planning for a growing sales team.
  • Experience conducting business in an international setting and at pace.
  • Proven network in European and/or UK political and governmental circles.
  • Willing to travel 25% of the time.

Preferred:

  • Fluent in French, German or Scandinavian languages.
  • Knowledge of the international defence and security market would be an advantage.
