The Role: As a DevOps Manager, you will oversee the design, implementation, and management of our cloud infrastructure and Kubernetes-based platforms. You’ll provide both strategic direction and hands-on guidance, ensuring the reliability and efficiency of our systems. This role combines technical expertise with people management, making it ideal for someone passionate about mentoring and fostering a high-performing team.
Your mission:
Lead and mentor a team of 4 senior SREs and cloud engineers.
Drive infrastructure strategy and cloud architecture across Azure and AWS.
Oversee Kubernetes platform management and containerization strategy (Crossplane, Helm, ArgoCD).
Establish and maintain service reliability standards and metrics.
Implement automation and infrastructure-as-code solutions (Terraform, CloudFormation).
Guide the development and optimization of CI/CD pipelines and GitOps practices.
Manage security, compliance, and cost optimization efforts.
Lead incident response and on-call processes.
Drive capacity planning, infrastructure scaling, and performance optimization.
Participate in technical roadmap planning and long-term strategy development.
What makes you great candidates:
Experience:
7+ years in DevOps/SRE roles, including 3+ years in a leadership position.
Proven track record of managing and mentoring senior technical teams.
Experience with large-scale, cloud-based infrastructure and data processing systems.
Technical Expertise:
Deep expertise in Kubernetes in production environments (Crossplane, Helm, ArgoCD).
Strong hands-on experience with Azure and AWS cloud platforms.
Proficiency in infrastructure-as-code tools (Terraform, CloudFormation).
Solid understanding of CI/CD pipelines and GitOps methodologies.
Strong background in observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK).
Experience in incident management, problem resolution, and capacity planning.
Leadership Skills:
Ability to lead and inspire high-performing teams.
Experience in budget management and resource planning.
Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Proven success in delivering complex projects and managing cross-functional initiatives.
Nice to Have:
Azure and AWS certifications.
Experience supporting MLOps workflows and infrastructure.
Familiarity with service mesh technologies.
Background in performance optimization and infrastructure modernization.
