The role: We are looking for a skilled Content Marketeer to help define and execute our communication strategy within the defence and intelligence sectors. In this role, you will be responsible for researching critical topics and creating high-quality content that attracts, engages, and retains our target audience. The Content Marketeer will set the communication strategy and be responsible for recommending new channels and/or asset types to best connect with our prospective and current users.
You will collaborate closely with the Product Marketeer to align content with key market trends, customer pain points and product benefits. You will also work with the Growth Marketeer to ensure your content reaches the right audience effectively. This position reports to the Head of Marketing and PR.
This role is ideal for someone with a deep understanding of China’s technological and economic landscape, strong analytical skills, strong verbal and written commercial skills, and a passion for translating product benefits into compelling marketing campaigns. Your Mission:
Develop and execute content strategies that align with our objectives in the defence, intelligence and government sectors.
Write and edit compelling content for various channels, ensuring clarity and impact.
Manage and optimize content across social media platforms and WordPress.
Closely collaborate with our Product Marketeer and Growth Marketer to execute GTM campaigns by crafting compelling content tailored to different buyer personas and funnel stages.
Support our events strategy by creating presentations, scripts and/or booth materials.
What Makes You a Great Candidate:
2-5 years experience with content marketing or content production.
Strong writing and communication skills.
Familiarity with China’s geopolitical landscape and public debate topics.
Proficiency in using social media channels to plan campaigns and engage audiences effectively.
Experience in conducting research and effectively communicating its relevance.
Experience in public speaking or event organization.
Chinese language skills (C1 level or higher).
Fluency in English (written and verbal)
Nice-to-Have:
Experience in engaging with media and handling press-related communications.
Background in international relations (IR) or geopolitics.
